I must admit that I missed blogging here. Our finances have been in quite a disarray lately. We make a decent income but then yet, I feel like we're drowning and saving has become a real chore. It seems as if when we're finally starting to put our savings back together, something always comes up and wipes out what we've managed to put away. I know I'm not alone and I need my fellow bloggers to keep me going.

If you are able to avoid debt when the blips come up, I think that is an accomplishment in and of itself. I too cannot seem to make a sustainable dent in the debt because of the inevitable things that go wrong. I have had to retrain my thinking to say "Wow, glad that I have enough money to cover that AND make the minimum payments on the credit card." No new debt is a good thing!
