At the end of this school year, I will either be a tenured teacher or lose my job. I've gotten good evaluations thus far but I still have one to go. In anticipation for the worst, we have decided to kick our savings to high gear. I hope and pray to God that I can keep my job, but I also understand that schools are facing budget deficits that call for a reduction in force. Either way, I believe that when one door closes another will open. Meanwhile, I'll just have to wait and see.
