I'm so happy that we're pretty close to meeting our savings goals for the year. My goals are to have:

Money market account:

20k by June 31
$1965 away from goal

Personal Savings Account:

$23k by Dec. 31
$245 away from goal

Summer Fund:

$11k by June 30th
$1965 away from goal

Once we meet the personal account goal, I'll split the $325 I usually save in this account to the other two. Once I meet the goals for all accounts, I'll continue to put money away in the summer fund so that maybe just maybe we could go on vacation this summer.

Saving money takes effort and will power and lately we've been using our credit cards only on bills we would have to write a check for anyway (I want to get reward money). Everything else is done with cash.
