I convinced my husband to make an appointment to see a house in a development in town I've long to live in for a while. The house is beautiful indeed. So what's the deal? The deal is that it's on the market for $465K and a $9200 a year tax bill. That's more than $100K more than what we owe on current mortgage and $1300 more in property taxes.
We both loved the house but came down from cloud 9 very quickly. I really don't want to compromise being able to save money and do the little luxuries we allow ourselves from time to time. I can dream,though? Can't I?
