Deck

Our deck is completely finished! We'll have to wait until next summer to stain it. It's recommended that we allow a whole year of wet and drying cycles before stain it. The cost: approximately $2000.00. We saved whatever we could from the old deck. We paid cash for everything. What do you think?

I was just thinking to myself now that the yard is done, I should maybe do the deck. Yours looks lovely.

oooh, that is a nice deck! All it needs now is a some patio furniture and a deck fireplace. Yeah, especially with a pool, it was just screaming for a deck.

We actually have the patio table, bbq and a fire pit and after I took the pictures we put everything in its place. I'm really happy with the results.

The deck looks great, and it looks like it also leads to a happy dog, so the project was a winner! I did not know that about waiting a year to do the staining... does it offer some insurance against wood rot, or something? What is the reason for this year between installation and staining? Nice work, by the way. Very nice.
