Pretty ingenious of my hubby

February 5th, 2011 at 06:15 pm

So while I was in Florida with my boys, I think my husband was a little bored. My son's closet is rather small; there is only room for hanging clothes and barely any room to store his many pairs of sneakers. We had some old curtain rods laying around the house so my husband decided to screw the rods to the weird looking wall in my son's closet. I thought it was ingenious for him to repurpose the curtain rods. Here are some pictures:

OMG. What a great use of those old curtain rods. We have tons of those sitting around. I wish my hubby did this kind of stuff when I was gone.

Wow! Looks great! But why does he have so many pairs of shoes?

He just likes shoes! His girlfriend buys him a pair for every special ocassion. The UGG slippers were a Christmas gift from us.

Wow, I think you son has more shoes than my entire family combined! But that's a very ingenious way of storing them and getting them out of the way.

I, too, have a... um, "problem" with shoes. In fact, I have several boxes of shoes back in the States waiting for us to return home. This is a great idea that will lead to better storage, and it's also nice for me to have some insurance that I'm not the only guy out there who really digs footwear. Smile Jerry
