Recalculating monthly expenses

July 13th, 2014 at 05:17 am

Can you believe that our property taxes is the highest monthly bill followed by car insurance? Well now that the car is paid in full and the furniture will soon be, I can pretty much cover our monthly expenses with one of my biweekly paychecks. If we are careful and stick to the budget, we can save my other paycheck and both of hubby's paycheck and also live it up a bit. This comes at a good time because we will paying a heck of a lot higher college tuition for DS#2 come the Spring semester. We'll save room and board because he will be commuting and he will continue to work part-time to cover gas, data plan for iphone and personal expenses.

It's always nice when you can save more! How long will it take you to save the money you took from savings to pay off the debt?
