Week #1 of 150 Days of Wellness

I am of day 9 of 150 Days of Wellness. I have been able to abstain from drinking coca~cola and I've made a conscientious effort to eat healthier foods. I also met the goal of exercising 5 days a week. I decided that I will not weigh myself during the challenge. I've become very frustrated with the scale and I really just want to feel better about me and improve my health.

This challenge is set to end on December 31st! Smile

    I am joining you (albeit late). My goals for the week: 1) green smoothie once daily; 2) one hour at the Y three times this week; 3) bike at least twice; 4) limit snack food consumption; 5) limit coffee consumption; and 6) strategies ways to deal with sleep problem.

    I function fine a scale - having access to one at the Y or my mom's. Never did anything but mess with my head, zeroing in on numbers rather than looking at patterns to promote health.

    Good job on progress of days 1-8. Smile

    Great job! I'll get back on the wagon this week. Vacation through me off a bit, but I did eat quite a few salads and fruit while away which helped. I did drink diet cola though. Keep reporting as I'm sure it will help you and those of us following along! Smile

    Weighing myself always gets me off the rails. It never rewards you in the way you think it should! It's much better to assess weight loss/fitness by how your clothes fit, in my opinion!

    Great job on your first 8 days!

    I really need to get myself back to better eating. The scale doesn't seem to throw me off track so much, just when I let stress overcome my desire to save money/not buy junkfood.
