Clothes and deals

November 20th, 2010 at 06:13 am

I think we've used our clothes dryer a handful of times this year. In the summer we hang our clothes outside to dry and in the other seasons we hang clothes in clothes racks. I think that it has saved us a minimum of $25 or more a month. This basket full of clean clothes were all dried in clothes racks.

Deal of the day:

$1.99 for a pack of 12 rolls of toilet paper using $3 worth of "ups" reward Rite Aide. (.16 cents per roll)

$7.99 for (4) 12 packs of Pepsi products.
Thank you to those of you who gave me ideas for the cookie exchange. I'll let you know which cookies I'll be baking!

We will also be ordering my DS#2 his high school sports jacket. He chose the Lacrosse patch for the back of his jacket and wrestling for the sleeves. I'll post a picture when we get it. Those jackets are rather nice, but very expensive. It'll be his Christmas present.

I hope you all have a nice weekend!

I lived six months without a dryer, had a whole system for where things went (I did a lot of hanging in the basement). Looking back, it is hard to believe that I ever did that! Good going!

Bet your son will love his jacket!

I hung clothes all summer, but it rains so much here.... I could get some racks though. Good idea. Sometimes I just hang things on hangers around.

I was in Rite-Aid again yesterday looking for the canned pumpkin and none came in yet. Have you had any?
