I paid $3.09 yesterday. I could have bought it cheaper but I don't buy ethanol fuel since gas mileage is not as good with it.

Umm, if you live in Jersey (where I have family) you have no right to complain about gas, as you've got some of the cheapest in the northeast!

Around here i've been seeing it at $3.29 a gallon and up.

  14. monkeymama Says:

$3.40 at Chevron. Safeway is still $3.20 today. I pay $2.99 at our grocery store. We rely on that discount very heavily.

I will complain when gas prices go up - no matter where you live, they are going UP!

Cheapest brand and octane in Seattle - $3.13. Add at least a quarter everywhere else. Our bus fares rose a quarter to $2.25 one way. So our employer provided bus pass is the day-to-day benefit I most use.

I live in the 'oil capital' Canada, the cheapest I've seen is $ 1.02 a litre which is $4.08 USD per gallon. I'm told 37% is tax, which pays for medical care, bridges, roads. We don't pay insurance premiums and co pay is illegal for necessary procedures. Seniors pay 20% of the cost for drugs.
