I want to be able to keep more of my earned money by changing our withholdings at work. I completed the form provided by the IRS.gov website and it is telling me that we should claim 15 on our W-4 forms. Could this be right?

Yes - very easily. I personally claim 12.

So, how many were you claiming before? You might want to try something in the middle, and ease up to it.

I agree. It could very well be correct. The w4 has us claim 11.

    I claim 0!

When I did the same thing, the calculator came bach with 11. I think I ended up claiming 9, because (I think) anything claimed over 9 is checked by the IRS, and I wanted to avoid that.
