Moving on to ...

February 18th, 2012 at 07:07 am

Year 2014 of our mortgage amortization table. Technically we have 12 years left on the mortgage if we choose not make extra principal payments anymore. Honestly, I'm addicted to seeing the principal go down every time I make a payment. So liberating!

This is a long weekend for me; Friday and Monday off. Tomorrow, I'm heading to New York City to see The Lion King on Broadway with my girlfriend, her mom and daughter. We'll be taking the train, which is kind of pricey but stress-free. I'm sure we'll have dinner there also. I consider these outings life's little pleasures.

Enjoy your weekend!

We're in a suburb of NYC and our kids go to the Lion King as a 5th grade field trip. (Somehow they tie it in to their unit on Africa). It's super pricey, but the kids loved it! Have a great time!

I like to watch the mortgage balance drop each month so much that I post it on my sidebar here.
