Outing and little more

May 13th, 2012 at 05:23 am

Evita on Broadway was incredibly awesome. My favorites were Ricky Martin as Che Guevarra and Elena Rogers as Evita Peron. The cost of this wonderful outing was $234.48, which included show ticket, round trip train ticket, a snack and some wonderful Cuban food (dessert included). I came under budget, since I estimated that the cost would be $250.00. We are already planning our next Broadway show. Most likely we will see Wicked or Sister Act. All in all, I had a wonderful time with five wonderful ladies!

I have a few items I would like to purchase for myself. I really want to get a small Coach bag (crossbody type) to take with me for when I go into New York City. The small bag I have is really not practical and I can barely fit what I need to take with me. I'll have to shop around for it. I also want a Pandora bracelet (the ones you can add customized charms to it). I think they are beautiful. I have some leftover Mother's Day gift money so let's how far I can get.
I do have to get on the saving mode again. I've been spending way too much money on eating out.

Well this is for today! I hope that you all have a wonderful day and Happy Mother's Day to all my fellow moms here.

Does the bag have to be Coach? Giani Bernini makes some wonderful crossbody bags and there are some beautiful color and pattern choices (and a couple of weird ones). I searched for a long time before I found this desginer and I absolutely fell in love with a soft, blue leather crossbody bag he made. I've had it for several months now (almost a year) and it has held together very well with excellent stitching. It still looks like new even though I take it anywhere I need to be hands free. The internet does not do these bags justice. Macy's carries them for a good look at them, if it's something you'd consider.

Sounds like you had a great time! Smile Wicked was just in Portland and I am sorry we missed it....heard it received great reviews....if it comes back next year we are definately going!

On the cruise DH and I were recently on, they had an awesome sale on Bella Perlina charm bracelets....they said they are compatible with Pandora charms....I bought 5 and love them!
