Euros and feeling blessed

July 1st, 2013 at 02:32 pm

I have 55 Euros and some coins leftover from my short stay in France. Any ideas on what I can do with them? I'm not interested in recuperating the exchange rate, I just want some American money for them.

I'm feeling blessed to have enough food in the pantry and meat in the freezer, although I can live without the meat, but hubby cannot. I hope to weather the summer without having to dip into the emergency fund more than what I'd like. I feel comfortable, if we reach September with $20K still in the emergency fund. I have planned meals for the month of July and hope to plan and stick to meal plans for August. My fingers are crossed. I will be renting movies, going to the gym, hikes and reading a lot for entertainment this summer to keep the budget in check.

Hope you all have a great work week!

You should be able to find a bank that will change them into US dollars for you. Not sure where you are located but I know that Wells Fargo will do it.

Hope you've fully recovered from illness. If the bank that sold you Euros is un cooperative, most airports have a booth to convert currencies for travellers. Unfortunately they are the most expensive option.

Enjoy your summer, sounds like a fabulous, relaxing plan to me!

I also have Euros I need to exchange, I'm going to look into this as well.
