it's what I am today! Last year, I joked around and told everyone that I was 34 (43 reversed). This year, I cannot do that, in fact not until I enter my 50's! I had lunch with three of my coworkers, they paid for my lunch. On another note, I will be returning to work in another ten days. So looking forward to a paycheck!

that's the amount I deposited to our "Building Wealth Fund". It was a check from our health insurance to reimbursed us for 90% of a prescription. My hubby could not believe that I was sending him to the bank to make a deposit for such a small amount. I reminded him that one time, I made an electronic payment to the principal of the house in the amount of $7 and now the house is paid off. Every little counts and it is one step closer to meeting our goal.
My hubby managed to get a temporary job and made enough money for us to pay $1400.00 of our DS#2 community college tuition. The remaining balance came from my Chase Sapphire credit card reward ($500). That's $1900.00 that did not have to come out of the emergency fund. I am still waiting to hear on a possible France trip travel insurance reimbursement. I gotta be honest, I'm not optimistic about being reimburse; insurance companies have a way of finding loop holes to not pay.
I begin work again on September 3rd. It's been a long summer for us financially but we've managed so far. I desperately want to get back to my financial routines and hopefully begin saving despite the fact that hubby is unemployed. I also managed to find someone to exchange my left over Euros to American money. I started the 25th Wedding Anniversary Celebration Fund with the Euro exchange. We have a year and half to save up the money for the BIG party. I'm overestimating the amount needed for the party just to be on the safe side.
Well, this is it for today. I hope you have a restful Sunday.
