Power bill and today's bargain

June 14th, 2014 at 04:40 pm

I'm proud to say that since March, my electricity bill has not been more than $43 for a 2,000 sq. ft. house. We economize by barely using the clothes dryer (even in the winter), by turning off lights when not in use and unplugging small appliances that are not in use. Our biggest bill ever is during Christmas time when we have all the holidays lights on at night.

On another note, I did my biweekly Walmart shopping and found Del Monte canned fruit for .50 a can. The cans were $1.48 regular price and I'm not sure I would've paid $1.48 for canned fruit but at fifty cents I thought, why not?
